This three-part course for experienced practitioners teaches and refines two forms of the Nrtta Sadhana while introducing preliminary practices of pranayama, including the Deha Shuddhi. Different avenues of approach to set up the pranayama are taught, beginning with the Nrrta forms, followed by asana, mudra, and kriya. Emphasis is placed on establishing the proper mind/body container required for pranayama while building an understanding of its qualities and fine-tuning the process by which it is formed. The asana, mudra, kriya, and pranayama develop sequentially through the three parts.

Part 1 -  teaches and refines the Ashta Matrikas (the eight mother palms).

 

Part 2 -  teaches and refines the Lasya (Kali's creative dance or long form).

Part 3 - builds upon Parts 1 & 2 with emphasis on refinement, leading to greater efficiency and skillful means.  New aspects of both the Nrtta and pranayama are introduced. Students gain a greater understanding of how to develop their personal sadhana, and adjust it, based on degree of proficiency and time available.

​The teaching builds sequentially through the three-part course with each part prerequisite to the next.
